Bridget Carleton
Bridget Carleton is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She also represents the Canadian national team. Born in Chatham, Ontario, Carleton began playing basketball at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the top prospects in Canada.
Carleton played college basketball for the Iowa State Cyclones from 2015 to 2019. During her time at Iowa State, she was named Big 12 Player of the Year twice and was a three-time All-American. She also helped lead the Cyclones to two NCAA Tournament appearances.
After graduating from Iowa State, Carleton was selected 22nd overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2019 WNBA Draft. She spent two seasons with the Sun before being traded to the Lynx in 2021.
Carleton has also been a member of the Canadian national team since 2015. She has helped Canada win two FIBA AmeriCups and a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
